No stopping the party for group photos every 20 minutes. I move quietly, catch people when they're actually having fun, and still get the one group shot you need — usually in under two minutes.

The questions everyone asks.
How many hours do I need?
Most birthday parties and showers: 2–3 hours. Company parties and quinceañeras: 3–5. A good rule: cover the arrival, the main moment (cake, toast, speeches), and 30 minutes after. Tell me your timeline and I'll suggest the minimum that works.
Will you do group photos?
Yes — the ones you actually need. Send me a short list (family, team, the VIPs) and I'll grab them quickly without stopping the party.
When do we get the photos?
20 edited highlights the next morning, the full gallery within a week.
Your full gallery arrives within a week.
Do you shoot indoors / at night / in dim restaurants?
Yes. Most parties are indoors and after dark. I use bounced flash, so the light is soft and nobody gets blasted in the face.
Can you invoice our company?
Yes. I can send an invoice to your company; a 25% retainer holds the date.
Do you travel?
Anywhere in LA and Orange County is included. Farther out? Just ask.
Do you shoot weddings?
A few a year, by inquiry. Mention it in the form and I'll tell you if I have your date.
What if the event runs late?
If I'm free, I stay. Extra time is billed at the same hourly rate in 30-minute increments — I'll always ask you first.
How does the retainer work, and what if I cancel?
The retainer is $100 for events under 4 hours, or 25% of the fee for events of 4+ hours and company events. It goes toward your total. You can reschedule once for free with 14 days' notice (30 days for 4+ hour and company events). Cancellation terms are in my Terms, Section 17.7.
Why no phone calls?
Honestly? Written is faster for both of us. You get the price and details in one message you can forward to whoever's deciding — no playing phone tag.
Is a family photo session an event?
No. Event coverage is for gatherings with guests, where I photograph what happens, candidly. A family, couple or portrait session, even on your child's birthday, is a Session: a planned location, some direction from me, and Polaroid prints (Standard starts at $650 for 60 minutes, see pricing on the home page).
